Imagine flipping the light on after a smooching session and finding your date covered in lipstick stains, smears, and smudges. The horror! Not only is it a scary sight (especially if it’s red lipstick), but it’s also a heartbreaking disappointment. After spending so much time lining and filling your lips with the perfect shade to make your pout appear plump and kissable, the last thing you want is to see your date wearing it. Because I've had the misfortune of this happening to me, I no longer believe in "transfer-proof" or "staying power." All lipstick moves. It is a migratory product that can't be tamed.
Or so I thought until I saw SG user, Jaazzmynxo's review of Maybeline's Super Stay Matte Ink liquid lipstick. After applying her lipstick, she kisses her hand, then kisses her unsuspecting boyfriend and his reaction is priceless.
Now I'm a slight believer in smudge-proof lipsticks, but I'm not fully convinced. I need more evidence so I'm reaching out to you. Throw on some lipstick and kiss someone. I don't care if it's your partner, your mother, your father, your hand, your cat, your dog, or your pet rock. Whoever (or whatever) they are, show me that true transfer-proof lipsticks do exist. I'm counting on you.
After you kiss, add your review below showcasing your lipstick's staying power.
