The 5 Buzziest Lip Scrubs on the Market, Reviewed & Ranked

Supergreat's head of brand partnerships, Anthoni, has tried pretty much every lip scrub worth trying. They have scrubbed their lips to an inch of their lives, for you, in a quest to find the very best ones—and they are here today to give you all the low down on what's really worth buying.

Don't be fooled by the price tag or the name; according to this lip scrub aficionado, Dior's $34 lip scrub isn't necessarily better than Milk Makeup's $22 dollar one. But we can all agree that most lip scrubs don't come cheap these days, and that's why they're here to wade through the weeds and save you the cash.

Here are Anthoni's favorite lip scrubs, in order of best to worst.

1. Fenty Beauty Pro Kiss’r Lip-Loving Scrubstick

"Fenty has the perfect amount of grit and moisture. It's not too rough, it's just the right combo. All I want from a scrub is for it to remove all the dead skin without making my lips feel dry afterwards. It does exactly that.

The packaging is really cute, and I love that it's in a stick form. In my opinion, stick forms are just better than tubs—with tubs you have to put your fingers in there and it's just messy. The pressure of the stick helps remove the skin gently and it's a clean process overall. The price is right too."

Fenty Beauty Pro Kiss’r Lip-Loving Scrubstick retails at $16 for 0.1 oz.

2. Milk Makeup Kush Lip Scrub

"This one comes in at a very close second, it only lost by a hair. It's just a little less gritty than Fenty, and that's why it's in second place. It uses sugar instead of a physical exfoliator, and because sugar melts it doesn't last very long on the lips. By the time you're done, the sugar is gone. I like that Fenty lasts until you take it off.

It does however taste better than Fenty, probably because of the sugar. The Fenty scrub tastes like sand, and you don't want it in your mouth. You're not supposed to eat it anyway, haha. I would sooner take this one with me and use it on the go, because again, the product melts so you don't have to worry about cleaning up after application. It's also in stick form, which is great."

Milk Makeup Kush Lip Scrub retails at 422 for 0.12 oz.

3. Dior Addict Lip Sugar Scrub

"This scrub is very similar to the Milk Makeup one in consistency, meaning it's also a sugar scrub. However it has a subtle pink tint, so if you have dead skin on your lips, the pink hue mixes in with the skin...and it's honestly kinda gross. I don't want color right now, I'm trying to remove dead skin! That's the whole point of a scrub, you want to do it before you apply color. The point is it's meant to be used out and on the go, to me it seems like it's not like Fenty's scrub where it's really meant to remove dead skin. It's a product you can use without a mirror, on the go.

I like using it as a balm, to be real, i wouldn't really call it a scrub. I would also say the price is only justified because you're getting two Dior products in one, a light scrub and their lip glow balm. It's a 2-in-1, so if you like Dior it's a good deal. But in terms of a scrub-scrub, it's not worth it."

Dior Addict Lip Sugar Scrub retails at $34 for 0.12 oz.

4. Buxom Power-Full Lip Scrub

"Here we go with another sugar exfoliant. It's similar to Fenty, because it also has silica beads in it to exfoliate even harder. it's very, very moisturizing, and the applicator stick is huge—it covers both my lips in one swipe, which I like. It has the most moisturizing product out of all of them.

The thing with this one is you have to wipe it off after using it, it doesn't melt away. This scrub is the best for a heavy duty night scrub when you need to remove a lot of dead skin. I use a wet towel after to gently wipe it off and work the product further into my lips. It's very effective, but the reason why it's number 4 in my ranking is because it's very messy and I prefer a cleaner process. It's best for mornings and nights, in the washroom by the sink. It retails at $18 and you get more product than the rest, so it's more bang for your buck."

Buxom Power-Full Lip Scrub retails at $18 for 0.21 oz.

5. Naturapathica Sweet Cherry Polishing Lip Scrub

"This was the first lip scrub I ever got, it started the obsession. I'm a huge fan of their Sweet Cherry Enzyme Mask, and this is pretty much the lip version. Thats why I was so excited, but turns out they're very different. It unfortunately kind of tastes like sunscreen, and the sugar granules are too small in my opinion.

It's also very sticky and messy, and you have to stick your finger in it to get the product. However, if you're looking for a nighttime treatment to let sit on your lips, it can be quite nice and relaxing. It's also a clean product at a good price point, and you get a lot of product."

Naturapathica Sweet Cherry Polishing Lip Scrub retails at $20 for 0.5 oz.
