Let's fix that!
35 Challenge entries
Spooky pals it’s time! Bring out the cobweb decorations, the carved pumpkins, and all your favorite scary movies because it’s officially Halloween. This year we are bringing you Spookygreat—see what we did there—a month-long event where we will be having the coolest challenges, live hosts, live challenges, and so much more. So buckle up because the fun is going to be running from October 4th until the coveted day itself on October 31st. Each week there will be a different theme, so be sure to follow us on Instagram @supergreatpp to see what’s coming next.
We’re adding to the Scary Cute theme this week with one that is definitely leaning towards the scary. Every participant will get 50 coins with one winner chosen by Enid to receive 200 coins! All Spookygreat challenges end on 11/05, and as always only one entry per person, per challenge, will be counted.
You’ve heard of Victor/Victoria now get ready for Enid/Edward:
Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands is the epitome of "scary cute" to me: Edward is perceived as scary and cute, his neighborhood and neighbors are scary and cute, high school romance is scary and cute... it's a movie that has it all! I'm not great at mimicking looks exactly—or blocking my brows—so I interpreted Edward Scissorhands more as a haunted doll a la mother Pat McGrath and opted for the iconic looks she created for mid-2000s era Dior.

The removal process:
Ugh, drawing the kewpie doll lips was the most difficult part. The main Rimmel liquid lipstick I used is great and very precise when applied with a brush, but I didn't love the proportions of the first shape I drew so I decided to redo it. OTZI Crystal Nova Gentle Makeup Removing Cleanser baby! It gets the job done amazingly well. I have oily skin and tend to get clogged pores in my T-zone so I also follow up with my everyday oil cleanser which is currently the Hanskin BHA Pore Cleansing Oil.
I love every. single. thing. about Halloween. I love costumes, I love candy, and I love people-watching messy partygoers. In that vein, my favorite memory has to be holding hands with a drunk girl I'd never met before on the streets of San Francisco: She was a flower, I was Ziggy Stardust, and she told me she was in love with the moon while smearing glitter on my arms.
Take a STAB at it
With that being said! Show us your best interpretation of a scary cute look and have fun with it. You have until November 4th to enter—GOOD LUCK!
