The Graphic Liner Challenge

63 people have responded

For those of you who follow my reviews, you already know that I attempted to dye my hair bright orange with Manic Panic a few weeks ago and that it somehow ended up yellow. Maybe it was the fact that I insisted on doing the wet dye technique (dyeing ones hair while it's wet—hey it's always worked) or the fact that I didn't heat dry it. It turned out to be a kind of cool look, but I've since covered it up with a bright red dye by Good Dye Young (Rock Lobster is the shade) and I'm ready to say that I'm ditching Manic Panic for good. This stuff is STRONG.

So while my hair was yellow and I was looking especially clownish (in a good way of course, forever inspired by Marika D'Auteuil's Pierrot tutorial) I decided to try some kind of Juggalette meets runway makeup look. I came across the runway makeup for Dice Kayek Fall/Winter 2016 and decided to go for it.

I wanted to bring in the orange I never got for my hair, so went with Danessa Myricks Waterproof Cream Palette and added orange powder shadow on top to set it from my trusty NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette. I rarely do a colorful look without incorporating some Suva Hydra Liner, and in this case I used Dance Party.

Here's my final look:

Now it's your turn:

Try any kind of graphic eyeliner look—use black, use a rainbow of colors, use anything you want to create this look. I like to look to red carpets, magazine editorials, and runway shows for unique ways to do my liner, but there's also good old fashioned Instagram and TikTok. Or just your brain! Go beyond a wing, and go crazy—I can't wait to see what you create. You have until 11/30 to enter this challenge, and only one entry per challenge will be counted. Everyone who tries it will get 20 coins and one winner will get 100! GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN.
