We all know the importance of good brows, whatever that means to you. Personally, I don't think I could ever pull off that cool shaved bit in the middle of the brow, but oh well. Twas not the life I was meant to lead.
But while everyone has been over the thin 90s brow and the blocky-looking opaque brows of the aughts, where does that leave us now? FLUFFY brows. Those blessed with bushy brows, this is your time. For the rest of us with wimpier brows (like me), it will take a bit of grooming to achieve those effortless yet powerful face-framers.
But you know what? I've figured out what works for me, and that is brow WAX. I was trying every brow gel in the book and they'd define my brows but could quite give me that hold and lift that wax can. Is it intense? Maybe. But does it look it? Not always. Observe:
Soap Brows follows the old theater-y trick of using an actual bar of glycerin soap, dampening a brush and letting it sculpt your brows. This is just less... lathery.
The Flower Beauty Bubble Brow is the same thing with a slight tint. Both have grippy holds. Both utilize the intimdation technique of puffy cat tails — you know, get really fluffy and big and suddenly you look like you are not to be messed with. And, I don't know about you, but that's what I want my brows to communicate.
Now. If you've found alternate ways to fluff your brows up to the high heavens please share with the class because we very much love to see it!
