We Tried the New Fenty Beauty Flypencil: Here Are Our Reviews

10 people have responded

It all started with this review by TheFlauntFiles. When I first saw it I actually our office...where people are working. Maybe I get a little too excited about some of your reviews, but this one has it all; a beautiful thumbnail, an amazing demo, and a recently launched product from Fenty Beauty.
We're lucky (or unlucky, if you peek at our bank statements) to be located a few blocks from Sephora, so I walked staight over to the Fenty Beauty display and bought whatever colors were left; Grillz (a metallic yellow) and Spa'getti Straps (a matte coral). We tried to get our hands on Lady Lagoon (seen above) but there were none left, and a staffer at Sephora told us that she was surprised to see any colors left at all because they've been flying off the shelves since launch. Now that I've tried it I understand why. Watch our reviews below!

This eyeliner costs $22, which isn't cheap, but it's the best eyeliner I've ever used, by far. It's very pigmented, and even the subtle colors pop on the skin. The tip isn't very sharp, but it somehow applies with precision and it's easy to draw on a cat eye. The formula is creamy and it glides on so easily that it's almost like a hybrid between pencil and liquid. This is the only eyeliner I've ever applied that truly requires one swipe.

If you have the cash and you're on the lookout for an eyeliner, this is the one. If you don't want to dish it out, may I suggest you start making reviews and saving up your coins NOW. Who knows? Maybe it will be a reward (very) soon. 🤷‍♀️
