It seems that the consensus in the at-home manicure world is that the best nail polishes are Essie, Sally Hansen (Miracle Gel to be exact), OPI, Dior, and Chanel. When I say best, I'm of course taking into account opacity, color and style range, ingredients (meaning 7, 8, 9, or 10-free) and the most important criteria of all: whether or not it chips quickly. Because very few things are more annoying than chipped nail polish in an otherwise perfect manicure.
We’ve seen some amazing nail polish reviews on the app. From holographic and chrome (See Sable’s Beauty Blueprint on DIY chrome nails for reference) polishes to temperature-activated, color changing polishes, we just can’t get enough of your at-home manicures! Speaking of at-home, now that you have plenty of time to be home and nail salons are closing to do their part in promoting social distancing, we want to know what nail polishes you love. Which ones can hold up to life’s daily tasks? Which ones need a chisel to remove? Which polishes won’t chip no matter what you put them through?
